The educational system  in Israel aims to prepare children to become  responsible members  of a democratic, pluralistic society in which people from different ethnic, religious, cultural and political backgrounds coexist. It is based on Jewish values, love of the land, and the principles of liberty and tolerance.

 

Most of the programs that  are offered in English for individuals coming from abroad to undertake university education are private and are therefore not fully covered by the Student Authority (as with Israeli programs).
