LAUNCH OF THE INTERNATIONAL GENDER GUARD BY THE KNESSET TO PROMOTE WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP AND SOCIAL EQUALITY

The International Gender Guard was launched by the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) on 17th July 2018, to promote the advancement of women in diversity,  gender equality, and equal opportunity. As part of its functions,  the International Gender Guard is expected to share information regarding parliamentary efforts to enhance the status of women, expand educational and legislative initiatives for gender equality, combat inequality and close gender gaps.

Partnerships between countries that share these values are essential to the objectives of the International Gender Guard, as learning best practices and mutual assistance will advance and ensure great benefits to women worldwide.
